  • THe article lacks the meat of the issue of what the immigrants are doing to cause problems. Does this have to do with more conservative immigrants trying to change the culture? If that is the case then they should return to where they enjoyed such a culture.

  • That's one idea. I think that what would be helpful in bringing everyone together would be to put a major issue, such as healthcare on a ballot that everyone could vote on.

  • If we want our money back from the bailout we should all just max out our cards then file bankruptcy. Another way to bring the credit card companies down would be for everyone to stop payments for 6 months or so. I know it's a fantasy but it could work.

  • When I worked as a nurse in a nursing home it was terrible to see so many old people with no one to visit with them or interact with. I guess I have a different view of older people because of the way I was raised.

  • At this time I am unable to donate as I myself am disabled and live on a fixed income and have ttrouble affording my basic needs. I do however volunteer at a local homeless shelter that provides one meal a day. I can't do as much as I used to but I try my best!

  • It's good in theory but one of the things that is happening in war torn countries is that food aid is being stolen and then sold on the blackmarket. Aid workers in these areas face huge challenges and often have to be removed from areas for there own safety.

  • HA, HA What I say is true. ANd BTW I don't really watch that much tv, mostly nature programs or history stuff on PBS as I only have the good old digital converter and not the 1000 channels of nothingness that most have signed up for.
